Welcome, my name is Jason Stumpf and I am a creative professional who has been working in the web & multimedia realm for the past 21 years. My career in graphic production started 26 years ago when I began honing my skills in silk-screening, bindery, off-set printing, and custom vinyl. But it wasn't until I was introduced to the world of web and multimedia that my path was clear and my fate sealed. You can now find me gallivanting around as a creative professional, making the internet an awesome place to visit.
I am a UX / UI designer who also enjoys doing front-end development and is versed in building websites driven by various CMS' and frameworks - utilizing current methods and technologies to create useable experiences across multiple platforms. You'll find that I am a versatile and enthusiastic designer who is motivated by challenging projects and new technologies, intrigued by current trends, and who thrives in a dynamic team environment.
My main focus at Trade Navigator is UX wireframing, UI design and front-end development of an up and coming stock trading web site. My other responsibilities include the redesign and maintenance of existing sites, designing and managing Facebook campaigns, marketing emails, building automated email campaigns, and orchestrating company sales.
At Roth Industries, I handled and oversaw all their creative needs. My responsibilities included web design/development/management, product label and packaging design, branding for a multitude of product lines, video production and product photography. All of this work was previously outsourced and was to be brought in-house. This included creating and organizing brand assets into libraries, establishing a local web development environment, assuming and transferring all existing sites to our hosting, and creating design templates and die-lines for product packaging. This lead up to the creation of an environment that is ready to receive further talent as needed.
My position at Dish, involved working with a small team that handled all out-bound email communications including promotional, acquisitional, newsletters and all transactional communications. Daily duties included designing and developing fully responsive and dynamic emails that were tested to work in over 30+ client/device scenarios. Other duties included the construction of email programs in Responsys Interact, which lead customers through email journeys determined by their preferences and interactions. Other duties include building and testing user scenarios and email triggers.
At New Balance, my primary role is to design and develop eCommerce experience pages, banners, and emails for NB as well as it's family of brands. This includes project coordination with marketing, merchandising, photo, and brand managers on a daily basis. Duties also include wireframing and documenting functionality for new site launches or updates, where needed.
While here I have also proven to be instrumental in the movement to integrate a CMS into the Demandware platform.
At Digidata, I performed GUI / UX design, skinning, and deployment of white label phone & web applications for OEM's like Verizon, Charter Communications, and MoviStar. Duties also included producing branded online product tutorials for client end-users.
While there I also redesigned, coded, and deployed Digidata's web sites utilizing a CMS backend and facilitated the migration of phone application branding from overseas to an in-house team.
As a Web UI Engineer, I translated graphic designs into rich user interfaces for client facing credit card application and servicing sites for Barclay Bank and it's partner branded sites. I was a web team liaison to Federal C.A.R.D. act compliance project and a contributor to QA testing and change management teams.
Over the course of my employment I managed major online web development efforts for more than 20 websites. This also included the introduction of new technologies for rich user interface development and implementation a CMS across the board.
Throughout each year, I established new branding and marketing campaigns for the organization and their national events. This ranged from printed materials to online media and included on-site banners and signage.
In 2008, I was made the official artist of the 24th National Space Symposium; an event drawing over 7500 participants and generating an estimated economic impact of $25 million.
Created 508 compliant web based training for clients such as SkillSoft and Doilette & Touche. Duties included development of interactive web simulations utilizing rich user applications and additional duties helping the QC department.
During my employment at Qwest, I prepared and packaged web based training utilizing user rich internet applications and integrated a corporate wide Learning Management System for user tracking and professional development. Along with this, I established and documented branding standards for the Global Business Markets Group and designed cover art and illustrations for print media.
